Kidfest

Come say “Hello!” to FND POPIN Parent Training Specialist Glenesha Milner for an exciting day of celebrating children at Panama City’s Kidfest! She will be at the Family Network on Disabilities resource table with free information about our services.

Kidfest is a 27-year-old family event that features children’s activities, entertainment, food, and, most of all, fun for the whole family.

More than 100 area organizations and businesses set up various types of free activities for children of all ages, while numerous entertainers showcase their talents throughout the day. Last year, approximately 5,000 people from Northwest Florida and South Alabama attended the event.

Early Education and Care hosts this event each year, with all proceeds benefiting the organization. Kidfest is EEC’s major fundraiser, which not only supports EEC’s programs but also celebrates children and enhances family involvement.

PEN Academic Summit 2023

Becoming a Wave Finder on Your Voyage of Special Education and Beyond

Our conference aims to foster an environment of learning, collaboration, and empowerment. We understand that navigating the educational landscape for a child with special needs can be both rewarding and challenging. Therefore, we have curated a diverse range of sessions and workshops.

We will also host an IEP clinic throughout the day, where you will have the opportunity to ask specific questions regarding your child’s IEP. Registration is needed for the IEP clinic.

The conference will feature experts in the field of special education who will share their insights and strategies. Additionally, you can connect with fellow parents and caregivers who share similar experiences, building a network of support and camaraderie.

We firmly believe that informed families are better equipped to advocate for their children’s needs and aspirations. By attending this conference, you will gain practical knowledge, tools, and inspiration to help your child thrive in their educational journey.

Free lunch and a $50 gas card will be provided to anyone from north of Stock Island.
