So, is it any wonder that caregivers are some of the people most prone to burnout? Managing the stress levels in your life is just as important as ensuring your family member gets to the doctor’s appointment or takes their medication on time.

It’s All About The Apps Facebook Live Webinar

Workshop summary

No matter which hurdles your child faces, apps and other media included in this presentation can give him or her an added boost. We don’t expect an app to be a complete solution, of course. Working with students who face challenges requires lots of time, attention, and patience on the part of a parent, teacher, or other adult caregivers. Our goal is to offer you a host of fun apps you can add to your toolkit as you work with your child.

Alternative Dispute Resolution Webinar

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Workshop Summary

Sometimes, parents disagree with the school district about something related to their child and special education. When you disagree or feel that the school is not meeting its legal obligations, there are several ways for parents to resolve these disagreements.

It is usually best for everyone involved to work out differences at the lowest possible level with the least amount of conflict. This presentation has information about:

1. Informal ways to resolve differences.

2. Formal options offered by the State.

3. Preparing and communicating your concerns.
