There are significant differences between adult and pediatric health care models. Pediatric care is family oriented and relies on parent involvement in decision making; adult care is guided by the patient and requires independent skills of the patients. Healthcare transition is important for all youth, and it’s important to be prepared.

FND PEN and Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida present a workshop on the Nuts & Bolts of Diploma Pathways on Tuesday 21st, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm on Zoom (Click here to register in advance) and it will live stream in the DSACF Facebook page as well.
