Assistive and Educational Technology Tools and Resources
The TechMatrix website provides assistive and educational technology tools and resources to support learning for students with disabilities and their classmates. The site allows users to search a database of nearly 400 assistive and educational technologies. It also houses related research articles on the theory and practice of using technology to improve student learning.
TechMatrix is a product of the National Center for Technology Innovation (NCTI), which was awarded through a cooperative agreement from OSEP, and is operated by American Institutes for Research (AIR). NCTI is dedicated to improving the quality and integration of assistive and learning technologies to enhance the learning experience for students with disabilities and their classmates.
This resource was reviewed by members of the RAISE Advisory Partnership (RAP) and determined to be of “High Quality, High Relevance, High Usefulness” to Parent Centers. RAISE Center is a CPIR partner working with the seven (7) RSA-funded Parent Training & Information Centers to develop and disseminate information and resources that increase their capacity to serve youth and young adults with disabilities and their families.
