Disability History and Awareness: A Resource Guide

This resource guide was developed to help school districts promote Disability History and Awareness Weeks. The guide contains promotional ideas, activities, and resources designed to expand students’ knowledge, understanding, and awareness of individuals with disabilities and disability rights history. There are many more ideas, activities, and resources out there. As other information becomes available, it will be listed on the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services website under the Resources Section at http://www.fldoe.org/ese/linkhome.asp.
