Designing Lessons for the Diverse Classroom: A Handbook for Teachers

The purpose of this handbook is to provide teachers with a tool to improve instruction through effective lesson planning. It provides a process for lesson planning that helps teachers align all instructional components leading students to achieve district goals and Sunshine State Standards. The handbook is designed specifically for preservice and beginning teachers. Other teachers who may benefit from this handbook include those who are teaching outside their field of training, teachers who have just been assigned to new subjects or grade levels, or teachers who want to improve their teaching through reflection and self-evalua­tion activities.
