Note | There is a separate training activity and guide for early childhood providers that focuses on enhancing high-quality, functional outcomes via the IEP. As children move from early intervention services to special education services (upon their third birthday or thereafter), the writing of an IEP becomes the service vehicle for planning, documenting, and delivering special education services.
