Jan La Belle Scholarship Program

Family Network on Disabilities is pleased to announce the winner of the Jan La Belle Scholarship Program for 2014, Bradley Mauger.

Bradley lives in Longwood, Florida, and wants to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of North Florida.  It is his intention to then pursue a Master’s degree in Finance and become a Financial Advisor. Bradley has Congenital Muscular Dystrophy and volunteers extensively for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

This year’s Scholarship Award was made possible by the family of one of the program’s first award recipients, Kinsey Leonard.  Since receiving the award in 2011, Kinsey and her parents, Brian and Carolyn, have generously and selflessly raised funds to give back to the Jan La Belle Scholarship Program so that more students can benefit from the program.

Family Network on Disabilities Gives Back!

Family Network on Disabilities’ staff gives back to their communities in a variety of ways.  Over the course of the last year, staff have participated in raising money for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life, delivered food to senior citizens with Meals on Wheels, sorted food with Feeding America, and much more!

Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the community and make a difference!
