Essential Tools for Positive Behavior Change Free Workshops In Collier County

The Essential Tools for Positive Behavior Change series is a competency-based behavioral training based on the work of Dr. Glenn Latham, author of the highly acclaimed book; The Power of Positive Parenting.

The strategies taught are based on solid behavioral principals originating from over 60 years of empirically supported research. Task analyzed skills, or tools, will be taught via lecture, demonstration, role play and community practice.

The Essential Tools for Positive Behavior Change is a 5 week session course with outside reading and application
exercises.

Who Should Take This Class?

Parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or challenging behavior who would like to help their children learn appropriate behaviors.

This series offering will be held from 5:30-8:30pm on:

  • Monday, October 5th, 2015
  • Monday, October 12th, 2015
  • Monday, October 19th, 2015
  • Monday, October 26th, 2015
  • Monday, November 2nd, 2015

What’s Different About This Course?

This course offers competency based training. In addition, small class size to ensure adequate participation and practice.

Cost

Participation in this project is offered free to parents.

Class will be held at the Greater Naples YMCA. 5450 YMCA Road, Naples FL, 34109

About Your Trainer
Kristen A. Neves has been a Certified Associate Behavior Analyst for over 10 years. Her experience is with children and teens on the Autism Spectrum, Developmentally Delayed, and in foster care/group homes. She has experience in the school system as well as in the private in-home setting. She is also a Professional Crisis Management Instructor.
